LATE AKEREDOLU'S BURIAL CEREMONY CONTINUES; GOV. AIYEDATIWA ATTENDED SERVICE OF SONGS AS PROF. SIMIDELE ODIMAYO MOBILIZES ONDO SOUTH CRITICAL LEADERS TO IBADAN FOR AKETI'S LAST RESPECT.

The executive governor of Ondo state Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa was on Monday at Jogor event center, Ibadan, Oyo state to honour his boss, Late Governor Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN, CON (Aketi) in a service of songs as Prof. Simidele Odimayo mobilzed critical leaders from Ondo South district.
The governor, who came in with critical leaders across Ondo state to Ibadan, received a rousy welcome by critical leaders from Ondo southerners as mobilized by a renown Professor of Microbial pathology, Prof. M. Simidele Odimayo.
Speaking through their team lead, Otunba Adegoroye Taiwo of Odigbo local government said the decision of Prof. Odimayo to ensure Ondo South Senatorial District joined the People's governor, Aiyedatiwa in honouring the late Akeredolu at the service of songs is commendable and cozy.
He thereafter reiterated the commitment of Odigbo LG leaders, which is not limited to Adeolu Akinseyoju, Hon. Abimbola Oladimeji, Hon. Akeeb Okunola at ensuring the unwavering support Governor Aiyedatiwa as he continue to paddle the canoe of Ondo state to the promised land.
Speaking, the national coordinator of Ikale United Front, Comrade Jan Oladipupo from Okitipupa local government said, "we are glad that we are under the auspices of a brilliant and a considerate man of the people, in Prof Simidele". He prayed for strength for the late Governor's family.
Also speaking on behalf of Irele local government, Comrade Arowojolu, Ikujuni and Odogun Bankole (Jawosi) former youth leader expressed deep satisfaction at governor Aiyedatiwa's move at ensuring a befitting burial for his late boss, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu. thanking Prof. Odimayo for his ingenious steps at supporting grassroot politics and politicians in Ondo south.
Before retiring to their various hotel rooms as they await the commendation service on Tuesday at All Saints Church, Jericho, Ibadan, Prof Odimayo thanked the critical stakeholders cum grassroot politicians across Ondo south senatorial district for heeding his call, notwithstanding the short notice.
Again, Prof. Odimayo recounted the good deeds of the late Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu saying Ondo state and Nigerians will forever missed him.
It will be recalled that, upon passing away in December 2023, friends, families, business associates, politicians and political leaders had gathered at Jogor event center, Ibadan to honour the late Governor in service of songs on Monday 19th February, 2024.
