The legal community in Nigeria has recorded another significant milestone as Hon. Barr. Babatunde Ogala, SAN, OFR, has been appointed to serve on the prestigious Body of Benchers, the apex regulatory institution responsible for oversight of the nation’s legal profession.
The Body of Benchers—comprised of eminent legal figures including the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justices of the Supreme Court, and respected Senior Advocates—supervises crucial functions such as the Call to Bar, regulation of professional standards, disciplinary actions, and offering advisory guidance on matters affecting the legal system.
