A call for Ondo State House of Assembly to live up to expectations
Ondo State is currently in a state with no elected Government in place. Governor is unconscious of the environment by virtue of his illness.
The Ondo State House of Assembly has been on the face of the storm by the reason of their failed impeachment saga.
The Deputy Governor is unstable to administer the state by the the activities of the cabals. We don't even have elected Local Government chairmen and counselors. Ondo State is now at the mercy of hawks who have taken the state to slaughter.
What should the Assembly Members do at this time to show that they are Honourables? They should invoke the doctrine of necessity now. This is in line with the words of the chief Imam of Ondo State, who have cried out that we don't know who is rulling Ondo State now.
Definitely, it is not Akeredolu that is directly doing this havoc to Ondo State. We know that Akeredolu as a person cannot be quiet for 63days despite all calls by well meaning individuals and groups within & outside the State to the contrary all this while. We know his antecedent: Akeredolu that spoke against the President in his preference for the current senate president. Akeredolu that stood against opposition to establishment of Amotekun Corps in the face of a major judicial contest, Akeredolu that spoke for southern Presidency and was out in those days to speak against cabal that held the nation to ransom during Yaradua's incapacitation. That same Akeredolu cannot be this quiet!
In the last 63 days that Governor Akeredolu was packaged into Nigeria, He has had no cabinet meeting in Ondo State, he has not spoken a word to the good people of Ondo State, he has not even been seen anywhere in Ondo State. Ondo State has had no representation at the Federal Executive Council in the last 63day!
Haba! Who has done this to us!!
The assembly should realise the damage they are causing Ondo State and live up to expectation now. They need to invoke the doctrine of necessity now!
We wish to appreciate the integrity team of the Ondo State House of Assembly for their good service to the people of Ondo State. They are people of honour and integrity. They are the worthy ambassadors of Ondo people. We hereby call them to call on the speaker, Hon Oladiji to do the right thing. Guess what? His type may not have the initiative. He is only interested in his pocket.
Alternatively, this is the time to change the Ondo State House of Assembly leadership for the greater good of Ondo State.
